KIRKBY IRREGULARS PRESENTS
PIRATES OF THE DEVIL'S BRIDGE
Raising money for the community (Play Partnership & Institute)

Fancy a bit of post-Christmas fun and watch people you know dress up
and pretend to be :-

· Possibly the odd human playing animal

Infact welcome to the mad world of pantomime, where most things happen ‘behind you’ and with a bit of slapstick and topical humour we can’t imagine why you wouldn’t want to come.

KLCS Christmas Concert

Kirkby Lonsdale Choral Society

CHRISTMAS CONCERT 2008

St Mary’s Church, Kirkby Lonsdale

Sunday 14th December 7.30pm

Tickets: Admission at the door £6.00, accompanied children free.

There is a special atmosphere that pervades the friendly KLCS Christmas concerts in the lovely church of St Mary. This year the society presents a kaleidoscope of well-loved and tuneful carols from a wide variety of sources including English, Welsh and 16th Century French traditional, Vaughan Williams, Mendelssohn and the Piae Cantiones. This colourful collection includes voice solos, vibrant music from the viola and, as ever, opportunities for audience participation! The society is delighted also that the popular and very accomplished organist Hugh Stalker is to play.

Seasonal warmth guaranteed with wine and mince pies to follow.
